Company director and head shaper, Dave Graham has more than 25 years’ experience working in the golf course industry; 20 of which as a specialist shaper operating excavators and dozers. He has built a reputation as one of New Zealand’s sought after golf course shapers. Dave has qualifications for turf management and tracks, wheels, and rollers endorsement.
Behind the coalface of Bay Shaping Limited are personable administration skills. Kirsty is Bay Shaping Limited's company director and administrator. With qualifications in business management and administration experience, Kirsty works effectively behind the scenes. It is her hard work that keeps the business running. She will answer all web enquiries and emails; co-ordinate schedules and answer any questions involving the bottom line of your project. You will occasionally spot Kirsty helping Dave on site operating a dumper or on the ground shooting levels.
When Dave is not on a golf course, he is delivering his knowledge and experience to clients on new architectural build sites and property flips. Equipped with a unique skillset, a high performing 5-ton excavator and a passion for natural surrounds, he enjoys delivering quality, creative landscape earthworks to match your new bespoke home.

We engaged Bay Shaping Ltd to rescue a prototype mini golf project called ‘Smallgusta’. We were under pressure but we were instantly impressed, relieved and grateful we had a proficient operator who communicated well and made sure we got it right. After we saw what he could do in a short manner of time we let him go a step further, creating a 60m steep clay bank into an undisputed feature of the golf course with landscaped steps, embedded rocks and a smooth rolling embankment.
